Open the curtains at the JGAB 2024 world-class gemstone exhibition. Buyers meet quality sellers. Business negotiations, closing B2B deals

Informa Markets Thailand, in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry, The Gem and Jewelry Industry Club, the Federation of Thai Industries, and many partners, is co-organizing Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2024, or JGAB, a Thai gem and jewelry exhibition from May 1–4, 2024, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. To support Thailand as the gem and jewelry center of the region.

Mr. Passakorn Chairat, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion at the Ministry of Industry, said that we believe that the Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok (JGAB) 2024 event will be a gateway for the Thai jewellery and gem industry to access the ASEAN market and it is an important stage for Thai entrepreneurs to present their products and innovative production techniques to the ASEAN and global markets. At the same time, it also provides opportunities for entrepreneurs to gain knowledge and exchange new technologies in designing and producing jewellery to suit the era. Moreover, we believe that this JGAB event will be an important platform for building networks and alliances in Thailand from now on.

Mr. Manu Leopairote. President of Informa Markets Thailand, as the organizer of Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok (JGAB), said that the Informa Markets Jewelery network is considered the largest and most popular gem and jewellery exhibition in the world. It is held annually in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. For Thailand, this is the second time the event has been held. It is also the largest gem and jewellry exhibition in Southeast Asia. JGAB 2024, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on an area of more than 17,000 square meters. Including more than 225 potential buyers, we invited them from China, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Japan, South Africa, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Australia, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Germany, and the United States.

Mr. Sanchai Noombunnam, Country General Manager at Informa Markets Thailand, revealed that for this year's Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2024, there will be important highlights within the event, including the Gallery of Thai Silver Zone that comes in Concept: From local to global with a collection of extremely rare silverware that showcases the beauty identity and craftsmanship of Thai designers. The Gems Museum Zone presents the story of Thai gems through a new experience, Immersive Digital Art. Discover a Masterpiece collection of rare gems complete with quality elements and beauty. And the activity of The Next Gem Contest 2024, a contest stage for young designers with a Showcase on display. There are also seminars and workshops on a variety of interesting topics, such as “Opportunities for the jewellery business in secondary Chinese markets” on the topic of “How to use AI to create jewellery designs into reality?” and the topic of “Understanding Lab-grown gemstone in the market : an update” workshop activity “Cold enamel of jewelry” and “Plating of jewelry" to ensure that Thai entrepreneurs, including groups of visitors from around the world, will have the best experience at JGAB 2024 this time.
